Commerce Commission

The Commerce Commission helps prevent harm to consumers, including from toys sold for young children.
We can take action against companies we find supplying unsafe goods under various product safety standards, which include baby walkers, children's nightwear, children's toys and household cots.

This year at the Baby Show we want to alert parents, future parents and just the general public alike, to risks from unsafe products for children, including a recent ban on inclined infant sleep products.
