Keep everyone entertained in our dedicated Kids' Zone at the Baby Show. Face painting, colouring, Teddy Bear Doctors, Wai the Whale and the Safe Kids House - there's something for everyone (including big kids).

For a $5 donation to Starship, your child can become batman, a princess, a tiger - whatever their little imaginations desire!
Teddy Bear Doctors
Attention all sick teddies! The Teddy Bear Doctors are flying in from Starship to give free check-ups for your child’s best friend.
Left ted at home? There are plenty of teddies that need some special TLC.
The aim of the Teddy Bear Doctors is to create a positive medical experience for children, because for some visiting the doctor can be an anxious time.
Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 1pm
Safekids Aotearoa Safety Whare
While you’re at The Baby Show this weekend visit the Safekids Aotearoa Safety Whare (thanks to funding from the Starship Foundation) and learn how to avert the most frequent accidents that occur in and around the home.
Meet Wai the Whale
YMCA's Water Safety Team members and their friendly mascot, Wai the Whale will be at the Baby Show educating children about being safe around water. Their main focus is to teach children not to swim without adult supervision, through fun stories and songs.
